Affiliate Marketing Income Report for February 2010!

Posted on March 1st, 2010 by Collin in affiliate marketing

Well, it’s almost my favorite time of the month when I get to do my income report for my affiliate marketing earnings. I did run into a few issues in February that held me back a lot from increasing to where I should of been. I did hit an increase from last month but still not what I should of hit.

Also, I am running into some major issues with one network I was dealing with who seems to of kicked out all of there affiliates and has decided to let the big boys handle there offers. The problem is, they have not paid me for three months worth of leads at this point which totals over 2k of my earnings. If I do not see any money from them this month, I will post about them and there offers on this site to alert you to who they are and why you should not trust them. Until then, I will keep my figures crossed.

I also spent a lot of time building Feed Flare Media last month as well which consumed at least two weeks of time. Thats two weeks I did not work on my affiliate sites or look at growing my earnings on that level. I am going to be getting back to the norm this month forsure.

Collin congrats on another successful month. It’s gotta feel good to still make decent money while your efforts are going elsewhere.

CBPredator, to get sites indexed faster, build some trusted backlinks early on. Also, it might help to add a sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make an extra source of income, or even with time, it will be your main source of income. The idea is very simple, there are thousands of business in the web, they sell a product or a service in internet, but the promotion is very expensive as there are millions of websites.

Awesome stuff Colin. I hope the network started off how you hoped and damn that company not paying up :( …. looks like they don’t have the cash to pay out.

Anyway hope you are all good.

Hey Colin, I saw you mentioned you use Unique Article Wizard – and being that a lot of your regular income comes from SEO, I assume you’re using that a lot for article marketing – what do you think of the service?

In the past I’ve outsourced my article writing and done link-building and submissions in-house. It sounds like UAW takes care of a big portion of the marketing part after checking out the site…. worth the investment?

do you like any other services more? do you think it drives significant traffic or do your other seo efforts trump it?

    thanks man

I think for what you get, UAW is the bomb. I don’t use any other services as of yet, havn’t found any better the UAW – if you know of any, let me know!

@CB Predator: Go post on a prominent blog that gets indexed regularly by the search engines, with your name & url for the specific web page. It works like a charm, and seldom takes more than a couple of days to get your new page or site indexed.

I just simply can not pick a campaign, because I do not know how to test if there’s a demand for the product, plus, I do not have experience o how to evaluate the competition.

The key is to find services that people will use for long periods of time. If they sign up and then quit a short time later you only collect a small commission. But a service such as Article Underground is one in which you can collect commissions for years to come (web hosting and autoresponders are other great examples).
