Affiliate Marketing Income Report for February 2010!
Well, it’s almost my favorite time of the month when I get to do my income report for my affiliate marketing earnings. I did run into a few issues in February that held me back a lot from increasing to where I should of been. I did hit an increase from last month but still not what I should of hit.
Also, I am running into some major issues with one network I was dealing with who seems to of kicked out all of there affiliates and has decided to let the big boys handle there offers. The problem is, they have not paid me for three months worth of leads at this point which totals over 2k of my earnings. If I do not see any money from them this month, I will post about them and there offers on this site to alert you to who they are and why you should not trust them. Until then, I will keep my figures crossed.
I also spent a lot of time building Feed Flare Media last month as well which consumed at least two weeks of time. Thats two weeks I did not work on my affiliate sites or look at growing my earnings on that level. I am going to be getting back to the norm this month forsure.

Hey Collin,
Congrats on another great month even though you only worked half the month. I will catch up to you now that I just joined FFM!!!!!
ReplyDo you now if there is an easy way of getting google to index sites faster Collin? Tried so many different methods but none make a difference
ReplyCollin congrats on another successful month. It’s gotta feel good to still make decent money while your efforts are going elsewhere.
CBPredator, to get sites indexed faster, build some trusted backlinks early on. Also, it might help to add a sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools.
Reply@CB Predator:
ReplyTry Stumbling them!!!
@Jimmy Tang:
ReplyLooking forward Jimmy to working with you!
I think its decent considering for two weeks you were not active.
ReplyAffiliate marketing is a great way to make an extra source of income, or even with time, it will be your main source of income. The idea is very simple, there are thousands of business in the web, they sell a product or a service in internet, but the promotion is very expensive as there are millions of websites.
ReplyAwesome stuff Colin. I hope the network started off how you hoped and damn that company not paying up
…. looks like they don’t have the cash to pay out.
Anyway hope you are all good.
Forest.
ReplyHey Colin, I saw you mentioned you use Unique Article Wizard – and being that a lot of your regular income comes from SEO, I assume you’re using that a lot for article marketing – what do you think of the service?
In the past I’ve outsourced my article writing and done link-building and submissions in-house. It sounds like UAW takes care of a big portion of the marketing part after checking out the site…. worth the investment?
do you like any other services more? do you think it drives significant traffic or do your other seo efforts trump it?
thanks man
ReplyI think for what you get, UAW is the bomb. I don’t use any other services as of yet, havn’t found any better the UAW – if you know of any, let me know!
Replythanks man, I haven’t done SEO in over a year since switching to mostly ppc, but am thinking of building some sites again…. will have to check out UAW now
ReplySales page also important to determine the conversion rate, read the sales page and ask youself this question “Does this sales page convince me to buy this product?”
ReplyThanks Collin and laptop
Silly question i know… You mentioned to stumble them. Well i have stumbled my site and i went on the actual stumble site but my sites are stuck in my favs not in the proper search on the site. Not sure if i’m making much sense but would you know? Because i want to generate some traffic off there as well. Thanks
ReplyCongrats on your gains last month. Sorry to hear about that one site not paying you for so long, hope you get it sorted out with them soon.
Till then,
Jean
Reply@Collin:
BTW, any chance you can name the company you’re having these issues with? If not, I understand.
Till then,
Jean
ReplyYeah spill the beans! I have had so many bad experiences! Im actually making a watch list
Replythanks man, I haven’t done SEO in over a year since switching to mostly ppc, but am thinking of building some sites again…. will have to check out UAW now
ReplyHey Colin, it is great to see that you are earning more and more each month. You will be earning $10K per month in no time!
Reply@CB Predator: Go post on a prominent blog that gets indexed regularly by the search engines, with your name & url for the specific web page. It works like a charm, and seldom takes more than a couple of days to get your new page or site indexed.
ReplyI see you have a lot of ads for Shoemoney tools on your blog. How much have you earned off them?
ReplyThat’s a handsome income man.. Congratulations! I could think of retiring if I get that much per month from blogging and related services
The best I had so far was ~ $1200 but then I don’t spend much time online of late nor do I stay committed to blogging.
Replynot bad, not bad
ReplyThat’s pretty good, though my goal is to reach at least $10,000 a day, i really think it’s possible if you set your mind to it and have a clear plan ahead of you.
ReplyCollin seeing this monthly income reports really gets me motivated to get my sites going again. I hope one day soon I can reach the kind of income you’ve built up. Good job man.
ReplyYes , i do all kinds technical stuff like setting up wordpress or even write articles for my clients.
ReplyInternet marketing is an incredibly vast subject. Figuring out ways to utilize the internet to send traffic to your website or affiliate links can feel like a very daunting task for the new internet marketer.
ReplyHallo Collin! I’ve just popped by to see what’s happening. Are you having Easter Holidays? Catch you soon!
ReplyI just simply can not pick a campaign, because I do not know how to test if there’s a demand for the product, plus, I do not have experience o how to evaluate the competition.
ReplyLooks like you are doing great Collin, I hope to get your level of earnings someday
But I am sure there are plenty of others who also look up to you.
By the way, you mentioned Dedicated server, who do you host with? Would be great to know!
ReplyAh, good ‘ol neverblue.
I have yet to be accepted to their network. I’ve tried everything. I have also had some
awesome high quality cpa based blogs…
I don’t think they like me too much.. :/ Oh well.
ReplyCongrats to you though Collin..
@Improve Eyesight, that’s just how it is sometimes… just go to a different network… I had a similar situation with a different company they didn’t accept me… so luckily there were alternatives so… I just went to their competitor. Their loss really…
ReplyThat shows how the original article still has relevence today. Affiliate marketing is the “Starting point” for any newbie to go. Its simple, often little outlay and the rewards can be substantial.
ReplyJust noticed these earnings report are from February, hopefully you’ll update us soon Colin, really looking forward to see if you’ve been able to make any progress.
ReplyHiya Collin! Things are awfully quiet this side, what are you up to? Hopefully is business and you’ll be giving us some awesome feedback really soon! Until later, cheers!
Reply@Internet Marketing Man:
ReplyForgive me, but I put the wrong URL in my signature!
As others have mentioned, we are eagerly awaiting more posts Collin. How were your March & April earnings? You must be quite busy with your affiliate network and other ventures.
ReplyThe key is to find services that people will use for long periods of time. If they sign up and then quit a short time later you only collect a small commission. But a service such as Article Underground is one in which you can collect commissions for years to come (web hosting and autoresponders are other great examples).
ReplyI second the gents above me. Would be great to have some new posts from you about your past two month’s earnings and new ventures, Colin.
Till then,
Jean
Replynot too shabby at all..
ReplyI can’t believe you haven’t been paid yet. i wonder what kind of action you can take against them or if its even worth it. But one bad post about a company can spread pretty fast. Hope you get paid and you did good this month. I always enjoy seeing other peoples progress.
ReplyOi, another month has passed and still nothing from you Collin. I hope that the silence is for a good reason and that everything is OK with you. Please let us know at some stage what is happening with you.
Be well.
ReplyInternet Marketing man, I feel the same way as you, I hope all is well with you Colin. I am worried now
ReplyI guess if I was making as much money as Collin I would be neglecting my personal blog too. It would make more sense to concentrate on the more profitable ventures. We would all love to hear how your affiliate network is going and how your monthly earnings have been. Or are the numbers too big to openly share now?
ReplyHi very nice site telling marketing income report all is very necessary for every person today thanks for great informative sharing.
ReplyWell, another month and no new posts. I guess Collin’s other projects are keeping him very busy. We’d all love an update though, especially regarding the progress of your affiliate network.
ReplyThat trackback is quite appropriate since someone hijacked my top commentator spot on this blog and many others.
ReplyHmmm, nothing still! What is happening Collin? I do hope all is OK with you! Have you considered getting some guest posts in order to keep momentum going on your blog?
Replyfind services that people will use for long periods of time. If they sign up and then quit a short time later you only collect a small commission.
ReplyI hope you’re doing ok, Colin. Been a regular visitor at this site for a while and enjoy perusing through your posts and updates.
ReplyThose are great earnings I wish my blog would make that. but someday it will.
ReplyCollin I think it’s about time to hire some freelance writers or recruit some guest posters. The dust is starting to build on this blog. We’d love to heard how you’ve been doing since February.
ReplyHi, my name’s Mark and today we’re going to look at how media buying services operate. The primary responsibility of a media buyer is to advise, discuss and buy advertising space on behalf of their clients.
Reply@Laptop Briefcases:
ReplyI agree with you on this one.
@Laptop Briefcases:
ReplyI got hijacked as well.
