Affiliate Marketing Tips For Complete Newbie’s

If your interested in getting into search engine marketing and you want to make some money that way and if you are a complete newbie to this industry I sure hope you got a hold of your pants because it is a very fast paced business that very few succeed in or have earned the title of super affiliate. Today, I am going to tell you about a very easy way to get your feet wet in PPC affiliate marketing world so you don’t dump a ton of money into your campaigns right off the hop and lose your shirts.

Tip number 1- Starting off slow

Believe it or not there is a way to start off slow when you get into PPC marketing and that is by using Microsoft AdCenter. Yes there search engine is not as busy as Google’s, I know but that is what you want at first because the chances of your campaign losing control and costing you a pile of money is very unlikely. With Google you have to watch what your doing very closely when you first start off as a newbie because if you have the wrong keywords and the wrong prices set for those keywords you can burn up a few hundred dollars in a few days just in clicks with no sales or leads ever happening. I know this is true because I have done this in the past myself, and thank god I used a coupon too :)

Microsoft Adcenter also has a great live support  that is around from 9 in the morning to 9 at night so if your campaign is not working right, or your not getting any clicks, or your not making jack all, they are there to help get you going on the right track.  I don’t know how many of you have ever tried to get a hold of the big “G” before but it can sometimes take days before they respond back to you. Adcenter, is one 1 800 number away, and they always answer.

Another thing that is nice about starting off with Adcenter is the fact that good keywords are not priced as high as they are in Google which helps you save money. Keep in mind though, certain keywords like make money are searched for so often, everywhere that your going to pay big for them no matter what search engine you use, at least with Microsoft Adcenter you stand a bit of a fighting chance at getting some exposure with them.

Once you are a master at using Microsoft Adcenter, the next place to go is yahoo Search and then Adwords. Also keep in mind, there is no set time limit you have to stay in each search engine, if your comfortable using one and want to hit up another to see how its going, go for it. Just work your way up PPC ladder one step at a time.

Sign up for Adcenter here.

There is no coupon with that link as I live in Canada and we don’t get the chance yet to offer one. There are some Adcenter coupons out there and to get one all you have to do is search for it.
