Affiliate Marketing Tips For Search Engine Traffic!

“Affiliate Marketing Tips”

We all know as Internet marketers that it takes time to build up a steady stream of traffic from the search engines. So while your waiting for that traffic to show up why not get ready for it and that is the focus for today’s affiliate marketing tips.

Writing articles just for search engine traffic!

Yesterday I am sure a lot of you were wandering why I wrote about the offer I found from the Hydra Network that was pertaining to saving money of fuel. Well, the reason why I did that was because down the road (I always think of a year from now, not tomorrow) when gas prices really get bad there is going to be a lot of people searching for information on how to save money with there fuel for there cars and I want that article to be in there face when that time hits, and when they use my affiliate link guess who gets paid. There is nothing wrong with writing an article or a review with your affiliate link built in it, lots of marketers do this on a daily basis.

Some affiliate marketers would build an affiliate website based on an idea like that, and in most cases that would be a very smart thing to do. But if you can build up back links to an article to give it more authority and help it get more search traffic then why not just take a few minuets and write a great post or review on an offer then post it. Your going to make money off of it at some point and the nice thing is it didn’t cost you much to do other then your time.

This method may not work with every offer that’s out there simply because some offers die down in popularity after a few months, but with the fuel crises that’s around right now and that will be around forever I felt that article from yesterday would be a very sound investment for me.

So when your looking at your offers and decided what you want to do, don’t forget about your blog and the power of it!!

“when gas prices really GET bad”?!?!?!?! You’re kidding right? LOL

Excellent post though, and quite true. I’ve actually been reading a lot on this topic recently, so it’s definitely something to look into closer.

I don’t think we need to wait to consider gas prices high. Here in Montreal it’s up to 1.50$/litre (around 6$ per gallon).

But I do agree with you that it’s normal to promote your own links. Doesn’t everyone do it?

OMG Julie, thats crazy. I am kind of glad I don’t live there anymore then. Well not really, Winnipeg is a lot worse.

The problem being 95% of newbie affiliates ONLY pimp links.

They don’t find that much needed middle ground of content first…links sprinkled within.

Then they quit saying AM don’t work, its a scam, etc etc
