Backing up My Income Report!

Posted on May 10th, 2009 by Collin in Top affiliate challenge, affiliate marketing

I got an interesting email today from someone basically questioning my income report and if the numbers I listed were true or not. I was also asked if I was spamming to make that kind of money.

Any of my regular readers know and even more so the people who I work with in my mentor program know that I do not spam to make money, as they have seen some of my sites.

What I wanted to do today was show you a screen shot of  account with Media Trust (Advaliant) and show you last months income I had with them as well as what my current income is for the month.

OK so here is a screen shot of last months income from Media Trust.

earnings1 Backing up My Income Report!

Now let me explain the differences between what I posted as my income report to what you see above.

First off – as any of you know – I am a Canadian. SO when I do my monthly income reports I do the conversions into Canadian dollars. I operate in that so it only makes sense to me to do my reports to you guys the same way.

The second thing is, the amount shown that I made from Media Trust is different then what I posted and is actually a lot higher. With working with my affiliate manager at Media Trust “Richard” and also with the President “Jivan” we found  that I had a broken link on one of my sites. So after looking into it – Richard and Jivan discovered there was around 81 leads I never got paid for. They added that amount to my end of the month total which showned up in my account after I made my income report.

So after conversion was done I actually made $9152.00 from Media Trust which is a difference of $3556.00 increase to my actual report that I posted. Meaning I hit close to $14,000.00 last month.

Personal Note

One thing I have always liked about Media Trust (Advaliant) is the fact that they are honest. Most other networks would not of pad me back those leads I lost due to the broken link issue. This is one thing to keep in mind when working with a network.

Well, Like my post title says – I am backing up what I post with proof. But you are right. I never believed in the “faking it until you make it thing”

I never questioned your reports as know it’s more than possible to make what you do… I make around $500 a month now for doing jack sh*t from adsense, so I know the sky is the limit on earning.

I have been away from PPC Coach for the past week as I had to move out of Canada… Hoping to get back to PPC stuff the end of this week, maybe finally starting a review site…. You think Green Tea is a bad one for a beginner? I love drinking the stuff so thought it would be fun but never realised how competitive the industry is until I started peaking at some keywords the other day!!

Wow, I know it’s an oldish post but that is really great. I’ve never heard of such an honest affiliate network – I’d run out of digits to count on if I had to list the ones which WOULDN’T do that!
