How Adding Images Can Help Your Click Throughs

Posted on December 21st, 2008 by Collin in affiliate marketing

A few days ago I posted on a few offers that are going to be hot for the new year coming up. What I didn’t tell you about is how to hep you get more click throughs from your landing sites to your offers. Today’s post, I am going to tell you that. If you missed my last post titled “what is your next project” <—click there to read it!

If  you have a landing page that is only text based there is only a small percentage of your traffic that is going to click through to your offer. A Lot of affiliate marketers would put a call to action type of link somewhere on the page that looks like this.

Adding images of examples of how people have lose weight is another feature you should also add to your site. This helps to give your traffic a visual of what they can achieve by using the product you are recommending. Also, don’t forget to link your image to your offer. Some people are click happy on images!

Here is an example of an image for a weight loss offer you can use t help increase your click throughs.

Also, another way to help increase your click throughs to your offers is by having a call to action button. There almost a must I would think. Once again a custom call to action button helps to draw the readers attention to it and get them to take action. Now adays text just does not cut it.

Here is an example of a call to action button that I use that helped a lot to get click throughs for me.

See how your attention was drawn to that button! If that style of button does not fit your sites look and feel that’s fine, pay attention to how it reads with the word FREE being all caps, a point that you are really trying to drive home to your traffic.

A very wise man told me once that a super affiliate never leaves a stone un-turned, which means, that you need to have different methods on your site to try and increase click throughs but also be able to do it in such a way that it is tasteful (does not look spammy).

I agree I don’t think any landing page should be without images.
