The starting a new site feeling!

Ok as of today I have decided to start a new site, an affiliate site, my very first one, and holy crap the name I want is open and its also my keyword. Now that does not happen everyday let me tell you. Two days ago when I could not sleep I was searching for a name for a camcorder site I wanted to start but wouldn’t you know it anything and everything was taken. But not this time baby!

We all know that the right site name can make or break you, from a certain point of view but when your sites name is also your main keyword that has 52,000,000 searches for it a day (and no one actually has it for there name, they have part or one word of the phrase but not both together) you get really pumped and excited. Getting ranked for the term will be easy when it is also my name.

What I found funny is today I was talking with Dennis, a regular reader here at Feed Flare and I threw an idea by him about something we should do. He said I was nuts, but what he doesn’t know is that conversation sparked a website idea, and one that I can make work very well. I all ready spoke to my affiliate manager over at Market Leverage about what I am working on, with out revealing my sites name and she is just as excited about it as I am.

Once I have the name locked up and the site running, I will do a case study of how it is doing and let you all know. Or maybe not, maybe I will just show you my checks every month either way I am excited and your going to be shocked to hell. I will say this though, I am making the site using Wordpress and the blogging format. The reason for this is, well I don’t have a problem getting ranked for certain terms and Wordpress is such and easy way to manage a site and make changes and so on.

Wish me luck tonight getting my name locked up and I will keep you all posted on how this goes and what I am doing, again, from a certain point of view.
