The move to AWeber was done!

Posted on June 21st, 2008 by Collin in aweber

This is more of a test post then anything else really but I guess it would be good for me to let everyone know that I have changed email subscription providers and am now using AWeber.

The basic process was pretty much painless in getting a basic form set up, which is good because it is very late here and my eyes are like pee-holes right now. One thing I am looking forward to doing is getting you guys some free ebooks you can get when you subscribe to my feed via email. That’s going to be cool!

I am not interested AT ALL in starting up email campaigns so you don’t have to worry about that. I hate that so I am not going to do that to you, you got my word on that. If there is something I think you should look at right away I will post it here just like every other time. That’s what this blog is for. I have safelists that I use for email marketing and the nice thing is everyone that has a membership to the sites I am a part of, want the emails so it is all good.

After a week of not being able to provide content to my email subscribers, well to be honest with you I really hated it. I felt like I was letting everyone down in some way which is a feeling I do not like to have. AWeber is used by lots of other sites and bloggers, and it works well for them so it should work well for me and deliver my content to you on time, every time!

Hey Dennis, maybe you can tell me then how do I offer a free ebook or something when people sign up? Also I am supposed to broadcast after each post automatically and it don’t. Any tips!

I’ve used aweber for my main service – Time4Learning.com – for four years. In fact of the my initial paid vendors (hosting, credit cards, registrar, credit cards, newsletters), they are one of only two that I’m still using. I do pay them more money each month than I’d like ($250)

Wow Thats a big bill every month. Hope your making some money. But at least you know you have a system that works and your readers are getting your posts. I am looking forward to that in the future for sure.
