“guest blogging”
It seems that guest blogging has taken over a few popular blogs in the last few months. I am not fully convinced that guest blogging is good for the bloggers who except the articles and I am concerned that the results may only one sided and in favor of the guest.

You definitely have a point. Too many guest posts by any one guest is not a good thing at all, especially if its in a short period of time.
It’s kinda like the PPP bloggers who would have like 1 paid post for every 2-3 real fresh content posts…way too many ads.
On the flip side, if you have a blog thats multiple bloggers right from the jump, thats another story.

ReplyI don’t always look at the author of the post because I don’t think a lot about guest posters. But usually while reading I pick up on the fact that this post isn’t reading like the blog owner usually talks and then I clue in that it’s a guest blogger.
Sometimes the guest posts are very good and lead me to a new blog I don’t have in my bloglines feed reader.
So for me as the reader of these blogs I benefit by finding new blogs to read. Then it’s my choice to keep them or drop them.
I have dropped blogs from my feed reader but not because they have guest posters but usually because they are just repeating what others are already saying.
So I guess for me at this point I still enjoy guest posts.
