Hey everyone, I am very proud to announce today I have started a brand new blog through B5 media called Toolbelt Tips – Home DIY Blog. This is a blog based around home renovations and home repairs and the DIY market.
I was hired to host this blog because of the fact I have well over 15 years experience in the trades and I wanted to be able to help people with there home renovations. I have a lot of tricks and tips up my sleeve that I will be teaching all of my readers over the months and years to come.
Some of the things you will see over at Toolbelt Tips!
I will be covering topics like, plumbing, heating, framing, drywall repair, safety, product reviews and as well as tool reviews. I will be doing a lot of video demonstrations and posts just like on this site. I feel video will be one of the best ways to show off some great tool reviews as well as I will be making some films of projects being done to show everyone how things (no matter what it is) get done. Toolbelt Tips is the reason why I pushed myself to get into video blogging and I am sure glad I have, I truly love doing it.
The Asking Collin feature!
There is also a great feature for everyone to take advantage of called “Asking Collin“. You are able to ask me anything you want pertaining to home renovation of home repairs and I will answer your questions and help you with what ever it is you may be stuck on and post the responses on the site for everyone else to learn from.
One of the nicest things about starting this blog with B5media is I do not have to worry about most of the issues with running a blog. SEO is taken care of as well as all the advertising and plug in related problems. All I have to do is post which is great with me because I have some really sweet projects that I am going to do and post over there. Because of everything they do for their bloggers and their sites this still allows me to put what ever time I need to into this blog (Feed Flare) with out having to overload my plate and fall behind posting here. Which is awesome!!!
Remember a few weeks ago I posted about the fact my water service broke to my house and I had no water. I taped the whole process of getting it fixed and will be posting it on Toolbelt tips in a few weeks. There is some awesome footage in that five part video series so make sure you swing by and subscribe, you don’t miss it as there is some footage never before seen on a blog.
I am very proud of this new site and this great opportunity. Being a part of a huge orginization like B5media (one owner of it is Darren from Problogger) will only only help me grow into a better, stronger blogger.

I hope to see you all over there and when you swing by please say hi, it would be great to hear from you all!
