Well where should I begin? Maybe I should start off with the fact that I am so far behind right now that my head is spinning. Last week, my son Devin got sick. He was off from school almost all last week, hence the reason why there was no comment contest draw done. He is feeling better and I should get the draw completed tomorrow for the weekly winner number 2.

I would of had the draw done over the weekend but there was no point in doing it. My server went down. Well, I guess it didn’t really go down per say go down. I exceeded my bandwidth limits for the month. I am currently running a basic 7 dollar a month web hosting package from Bluefur.com (A Canadian Web Hosting firm) that had a bandwidth limit of 50,000mb. I hit that limit on Sunday and all my sites went down. I was in the process of emailing Gary Jones from Bluefur just before this happened so they were able to extend me another 25mb bandwidth hoping that was going to be enough and my sites were only down for a short while.

It as been two days since my bandwidth upgrade and it looks like by Friday I will max out again. Crazy eh! For those of you who might not know, bandwidth measures your entire traffic load on your server (traffic). I was a bit shocked at as none of my sites were receiving PPC traffic so I decided to look around at my stats to see what was going on with my sites and I have found a few of my affiliate sites are just about to pass this blog for traffic, and there only a few months old to top it off.

After a very concerned email I sent to Gary Jones this afternoon asking him what I needed to do, it has been decided that I need to upgrade my account to a dedicated server. I have no idea how this is going to go and if there will be any problems in the process. So if you swing by here and things just don’t look the same, we might be in the process of moving.

One thing I am not sure of is if the rumors are true about dedicated servers or not. I have read that Google and other search engines can tell what kind of server your on and if your website can handle any loads. If they see or feel that you can’t, they won’t send the traffic. If your on a dedicated server, they send you more traffic because you can handle it. If that is true, I could be up for a bumpy ride trying to keep up.

What’s on deck for this week!

Well, just to let you all know, there is going to be two weekly comment contest draws done to get me all caught up with my November Neverblue Ads comment contest.

There will also be a kick ass review on a new Wordpress theme that is going to blow your minds away with what this theme can all do. I know for a fact there is lot of people not making what they should be making because they don’t understand code and how to work with it for building sites. This new theme removes the need to ever need to know any type of code. Your going to love it and you can also have 1000 theme’s in one!

Last but not least, my server upgrade.

Wish me luck!

All I got to say is WOW, I feel like I am in school again! The amount of information I am taking in right now is scary to say the least. There has not been a day in the past week and a half that I have not learned something that I know for a fact is going to help me make a lot of money, very soon. And all I got to say to that is, its about dame time too.

The hardest part I guess for anything we do in life is to finally say screw it and just start doing it. I was that way for a long time with waiting on getting into PPC. I knew there was a lot of money to be made in it and I knew that one day I was going to have to say screw it and just commit myself to doing it. I guess for the most part I was a bit afraid of losing money that I didn’t have and that I would just get frustrated and stop trying all together. Part of me right now is kicking myself for not trying this earlier but I guess I am glad I have started PPC marketing and learning this end of making money online. It kind of is like smoking crack, I can’t stop!

Everyone says that when you start PPC you should expect to lose money right off the start. Count on losing $1000.00 before you start to make money, I have read over and over again. I don’t think that is the right way to look at it, and I sure as hell am not going to be losing no $1000.00 either. But lets say I did, how would that be a bad thing if after I lost that money I had the knowledge to make $1000.00 a day like most PPC marketers make around the 2 to 3 month mark of doing it full time. Man, Doctors go to school for how long, spend how much on there Education to make half of what a average PPC marketer makes. If I lost $1000.00 learning PPC (which again I won’t be) I still think that would be a very solid investment in my family’s future.

Now here is a success story for you if their ever was one. Johnathan Van Clute, the winner of TAC, one year ago was almost bankrupt. He had a skill that someone needed (he can build software very well and code it) and the person who needed his skill knew how to make money doing whats called PPVor Pay Per View. So they worked out a deal and Johnathan got mentored in PPV. Johnathan now makes over 350k per year. Well that’s what he made his first year doing it, I imagine he will be making double if not triple that this year. I think its cool how fast a person can change there life around with the right person or person’s helping you out.

I guess this post is more of me just blogging about some of my feelings and what I am going through right now with my online career, I just wish I could share the butterflies I have from excitement in my gut right now with you guys as well.

So Hamlet 2 is coming out soon and this looks like a great flick to watch. As some of you know I am a regular viewer of Alliance Films and this one is a movie I am going to love watching.

Hamlet 2 is about a professor who, to be quite honest looks like a idiot and is at risk of losing his class which just so happens to be a Drama class. So in the hopes of saving his class he decides to produce a play and that is where the film takes off.

I am not going to tell you to much about what happens, your going to have to go watch the trailer yourself but I must warn you before you do. You are going to be pissing your pants while your watching this trailer. It has to be by far the funninesses I have seen in a long time. What else will they think of when making a movie?

There does not seem to be a lot of big time actors in this movie but that’s ok with me, it sure looks like it is going to be a great one to watch!

Check out the trailer for Hamlet 2 here.

Here is a little right up I got off of the Alliance Films trailer page for this movie so you can have a peak at what it is basically about and who you are going to see in this movie.

Alliance Films – Blindness

Starring:

Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Gael Garcia Bernal, Sandra Oh, Danny Glover, Alice Brage, Don McKellar, Martha Burns, Maury Chaykin

Synopsis:

Adapted from Nobel Laureate Jose Saramago’s masterwork, BLINDNESS is a harrowing tale about the fragility of mankind. Directed by the Academy Award® nominated (City Of God) Fernando Meirelles, from a screenplay by the Tony Award® winning (The Drowsy Chaperone) Don McKellar, BLINDNESS stars Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Alice Braga, Danny Glover and Gael Garcia Bernal.

Evocative of the recent SARS epidemic, or occurrences in the New Orleans Super Dome during Hurricane Katrina, BLINDNESS takes place in a city which is ravaged by an epidemic of instant “white blindness”. Those first afflicted are quarantined by the authorities in an abandoned mental hospital where the newly created “society of the blind” quickly breaks down. Criminals and the physically powerful prey upon the weak, hording the meager food rations and committing horrific acts.

There is, however, one eyewitness to the nightmare; a woman whose sight is unaffected by the plague follows her afflicted husband to quarantine. There, keeping her sight a secret, she guides seven strangers who have become, in essence, a family. She leads them out of quarantine and onto the ravaged streets of the city, which has seen all vestiges of civilization crumble. Their voyage is fraught with danger, yet their survival and ultimate redemption reflect the tenacity and depth of the human spirit.

BLINDNESS reminds us of the shocking fragility of our social institutions, the thin veneer of our “civilized” world, and the responsibility for every individual to protect their dignity at all costs.

Now I don’t know about you but with this cast line up and the story line of this film I know this is going to be a great thriller to watch this fall, one your not going to want to miss.

This post is going to be way off topic from what I normally post about but right now there are just a few things I need to get off my chest regarding what is going on with me in my personal life.

On January 9th – 2008 while I was working (I am a plumber) I was doing a job where we had to move 3 very heavy water heaters into the basement of a small apartment block. The tanks weighed 450 pounds each and should of had at least 4 guys moving them. We only had 3, and as a result of the extra wieght something popped in my back. Last Friday, after being off of work for 2 months I got the results from a MRI that I had two weeks before. I was sent for the MRI simply because the physiotherapy was not working and my back was not getting any better. The results from that MRI were showing that I have 2 bulged discs in my back, one in the center of my back and one at the lowest part of my spin. So it looks like I am going to be off work for at least 2 to 4 more months for sure. What is crappy about that is my income is down 20% as a result of not working and the bills are piling up. So far my girlfriend has been a huge help which I am great full for because the last thing I want to have happen is my 7 year old son to start to lose out on his activities like swimming lessons as a result of my injury. We both have come a long way since my divorce back in 2006 and with me winning full custody of him we have had nothing but great times.

The icing on the cake!

Over the past week where I live we have started into our spring thaw. Snow is melting and the temperature outside has been just great after the cold winter we have had. But like in a lot of cases when the ground warms up to fast, it shifts, and the results of that shifting can sometimes snap waterlines underground. Well that was the case with my water line yesterday. I had a small fountain in the center of my yard that was spewing onto the sidewalk in front of my house. I had to call the city to shut off my water because if it got any worse my basement was at risk of flooding. Now I have no running water in my home at all! What is even more crappy then all of that is the cost to get the water back onto my house. The outside work alone is $4000.00 plus what ever needs to get demolished inside my house to push in the new service, which is looking like at least half of my bathroom. Which would not normally concern me much but seeings how I can’t bend over to do anything because of my back, I am going to have to hire people to do the whole job which will bring the project cost close to the $5000 mark, which totally sucks.

I don’t know why things happen this way. Why when someone has lost so much control over things for a small period of time does everything seem to hit. It sure feels that way for me. My divorce left me in a bad financial position which I am out of now but my credit rating still needs some work to get it fixed so getting a loan really is not an option for me right now to get my water back on.

So with all that being said, if any of you know how to make some huge money fast online, please let me know ok, as I could really use the help right now.

Sorry if this post was a bit to personal.

I guess there are a few different ways someone could look at advertising their blog or website. The one method I have really come to gain respect for is the 125×125 button ads you see everywhere these days. They are like a bunch of “mini billboards” on the road to success.

If you look at a 125×125 ad banner as a billboard you tend to start thinking a bit differently about “Internet advertising”. Think about if for a second, the reason why people use billboards in the first place is to mostly get there name out there. It your driving to work everyday and you take the same route and see the same billboard for an appliance repair company chances are 3 months down the road when your dryer craps out your going to remember that name and give that company a call.

Most everyone on the net wants to get those extra clicks when they place an ad on someones site. But what ends up happening is the regular readers to that site you have advertised on tend to get ad blindness and will hardly click on the ads, but they do read them I can promise you that. So you might not get the clicks you want to get but you will get your name, or your site into the minds of a lot of people. So if you have a service that people are looking for, or want to use, one day they just may end up at your door asking for help!

What do you think of the 125 x 125 ad buttons you see everywhere. Do you click on them and if so what draws you to them? I would like to know your thoughts on this.

I am not sure if this post is needed or not but I just wanted to state that I can not believe how crappy the Internet Explorer browser is. Most days I am floored that Microsoft has put out such a crappy product and why they can not fix it and with that I have decided to do some ramblings on my feelings.
The most common problem I have using it is that it freezes all the time. Sometimes just checking my mail it does that. I get so frustrate with it, like I have to re boot my computer because that stupid things freezes up everything. It is just junk!!!

My girlfriend on the other hand has heard me bitch about these problems ever since I started using Mozilla Firefox ( which seems to be way better and has a lot less problems ) but she refuses to make the move on her computer. So here I am, blogging away day after day gaining a ton of Internet experience and knowledge and she won’t listen when I tell her something that might help her out with her browsing, women! Do they ever listen? I guess as much as us men do eh!

What have been your experiences between these two browser? I would love to know what you use and why.

There is more then one way to attract people to comment on your posts but one way I never thought of before was to try the bad grammar tactic. Yesterday I received a comment regarding the fact that my grammar was bad in my last post from someone calling them selves the Grammar Fairy. If your so good at grammar where is your site?

I am not sure if that was a spam comment or not simply because there is no link back to his site. Basically he said (and I assume it was a he because most women are not that rude) that he was turned off from such sites if they are not capable of using proper grammar. I will admit I am not the best for grammar but I could be very easily if I used Word or something like that. The problem I have run into in the past doing that is the words really shrink when they transfer over to wordpress which makes the posts very hard to read. So you might have to bear with me if you see some grammar errors once and a while. lol

What really bothered me about that comment is there are so many blogs from all around the world where not everyone reads or writes English properly. So what does this guy do then? Does he not read there blogs because they are not in his chosen language? Or what about reading a blog from someone who lives in England or Australia who might use different terms for speaking due to there culture. I bet your social marketing skills are very small too. If this is how you judge a site then please never read my posts again. There are so many great blogs I have read that are not in perfect English and I continue to read them to this day as I could not imagine my blogging life with out them. Heck, look at John Chow and his site, he makes over 25k a month and in his book he stats that grammar is not the most important. What do you make a month sir?

Is grammar the end all to be all when writing a post, do you even notice it?
