Aw Google – now what did you do?

Well it seems that Google has made another round adjusting there page rank and for some odd reason I have gone down. Go figure!

Well it was not just me that went down, a few other really good blogs have gone down as well that I know of and personally know the bloggers them selves. Mixed Market Arts went from a 5 to 4, John Chow went from a 4 to 3, Ian Fernando went from a 5 to 4. It almost seems that all of the team from xy7.com that was on the Top Affiliate Challenge all suffered from this recent page rank. Hmmmmmm?

I am sure one thing does not have to do with the other but what I can confirm is that I have not been doing any link building at all this time around. I wanted to see what comes naturally and from my own conclusion if you don’t take the bull by the horns and chase down your own links then waiting for them to come naturally is going to be a very long weight.

Well I know that I am going to have to go back now to Mixed Market Arts.com and start re reading some of his tips for building links and get my butt back out there. This actually is a really good time for me to do this because I have an affiliate site that needs some link building done to it so I can do both at the same time.

How was your page rank this update? Was it good or did you get slapped?
