Bookmarking is so yesterday!

“bookmarking”

I wander how many people out there who surf the net still bookmark websites instead of subscribing to them. Do they even know about RSS and how it can make there life a lot better online. Today’s video is focused around showing the average surfer the difference between bookmarking and subscribing.

One more thing I would like to say to you all is I think it is our jobs as webmaster not only to keep trying to make money online but to educate everyone, not only fellow bloggers. What do you think, am I off topic with what I am thinking!

I can’t even remember the last time I bookmarked a site that I was able to subscribe too, lol.

However, lets not confuse this with social bookmarking ;)

    Happy Sunday Collin

I still bookmark like crazy and I also use Del.icio.us for bookmarking.

I use Bloglines to read the feeds I like but even at that I still have to bookmark the useful posts that I want to remember later.

Bookmarking is still in my everyday tasks.

    Hey Collin!!, how’s it goin’
    Good question!
I bookmark stuff I want to get back to, usually posts and pages that show me how to one thing or another, ie: a tutorial or a merchants affiliate links page. I subscribe to blog that I read often, like yours  I cant say I use delicious often. I find it time consuming, where I could just drop down my bookmarks tab and scroll
