Dropped EntreCard!
Just wanted to give everyone a fast update. I have recently been going over my traffic stats and seen that the traffic I have been getting from EntreCard has been very low. And considering I have been even buying ad placements on relevant sites the traffic I should of been getting was still to low for my likings.
So, I have decided to pull the EntreCard widget from my site forever. In order to get any amount of traffic from them you need to spend hours and hours to build up credits. Those hours I need else where, and if that is the case then why bother having there widget on my site at all.
Sorry EntreCard, maybe next time!

I dropped it from my radical blogs awhile ago. They took a good idea that was working and screwed it up big time. I went from having around 100 visitors a day on each site to only a handful – it is just not worth the effort to accumulate credits – as for buying them – EC are really a rip off at the price when others were happily selling them for a quarter the price. Search engine traffic is worth ten times that of EC

Ya honestly- they suck now
For the most part the only social site that brings me traffic anyways is twitter.
ReplyI’ve been concidering the same action. I have around 5000 credits and haven’t even bothered using them. seems like a waste of time.
ReplyHiya Collin! I’ve just spent some time researching entrecard and pretty much got your feedback from several sources. It’s just not worth it, as it is time consuming. Maybe they can somehow streamline their offering, otherwise it would seem they are doomed to failure.
ReplyFunny how that works out eh! Most of those sites break out big – become a buzz for a few months then slowly fade away to nothing.
