Feed Flare Has Passed The 100 Post Threshold!
“Feed Flare”
Well it is time for me to take my hat off to myself for a day or so. As of right now Feed Flare is sitting at 101 active posts. It kind of feels good to me to hit this mark, it shows me my dedication to this blog and my readers and seeing the 100 posts in my dashboard kind of puts a few things in perspective for me as a blogger. I can’t wait until I hit the 1000 active posts mark, and have the same amount of video’s as well. In case your wandering why you have not seen any video’s this week is because I have been learning the Sony Vegas editing program as well as I have been real busy at home and have not had to much time to producing video’s.
Ok so I have passed the 100 post threshold but how are my other stats looking. I have not looked at them in a while so I am going to go check right now and post the results here as well.
Ok here are the results according to Awstats.
- Total unquie visitors – 9469
- Number of visits – 19209
- Page views – 86042
Total RSS readers according to Feed Burner – 120
Google page rank – 4
incoming links (from all sources) 8600
So all in all for a blog that was started at the end of January, and it is now the middle of May I don’t think I am doing that bad.
The reason why I have not decided to check my stats daily like other bloggers do is because I am not to concerned about it right now. I know it takes time, and a lot of time to build up a blog and traffic to it. So looking at my stats everyday is only going to be upsetting. I am also not relying on this blog for income either, like I am monetized but I don’t push it much. Speaking of that I have to redo my advertising page as I have removed a few ways of advertising here.
One thing I am looking at for Feed Flare is getting a few programs to test out for building backlinks and gaining readers and traffic. I have never used software to do anything like that before so I figure I should give it a try.
I know there is one way I can grow this blog drastically and that is to get out there a lot more then I have been and start commenting on other blogs more. I admit there is only a few dozen blogs I read and a lot less that I comment on. I am working on tightening up my personal load off line so I can free up more time online. My back injury has also played a part in my online life as my back can only stand being in a chair for a few hours at most so I can’t wait until that gets fixed as well.
How are your blogs doing? leave a comment and let me know.

I came across your blog while looking for rss buttons. Right now, I am in the same boat you are. I started up in March and I am on post 103. Things are going well…but it’s a marathon, not a sprint. It does feel good to pass 100. I think a lot of people give up or lose interest right before this point.
That would be an interesting stat to get a hold of.

Reply@ Colin, I am going to send you an email today about TAC and what we talked about and I will fire you the programs names as well and see if you have heard of them and what your take is on them. I was going to do that anyway when I got closer to buying them.
ReplyCongrats on reaching 100! Not many do this! Now go get that 200!
