Feed Flare – The start of a new beginning!

Posted on January 19th, 2008 by Collin in Feed Flare

The time has come for me to build a dream and a new beginning for me and my professional career. I started blogging 5 months ago back with a site called, Your World Gallery. The main purpose for this site was to try and expand myself as an artist and draw in some clients for my work. I am still working on that as I would love to be able to sell some painting’s as well as grow that site into a large, well known site for artists to come and tell there stories and for art seekers to come and find the artist who will turn there house into a home

I have how ever come into a bit of a problem, one that I am sure a lot of you have and continue to have even after a year or so of blogging. The problem is, there is just to many social networking sites to keep track of and trying to decide which one is the best for you is even a harder task.. I am not going to list them all but I will say that a lot of them are pure crap and over complicated to use. There are thousands of blogs started everyday and I am positive that the reason the same amount die everyday is the overwhelming feeling of trying to get your self known and receive traffic, readers and make money. Some of those people I am sure just want to be heard, and don’t even care about making money online, they just need to know someone is listening to them and can’t even find that. And when no comments show up on there blogs the frustrations set in and they throw in the towel. I know I have thought that way a few times already as I am sure a lot of you have as well.

So let me ask you this question and please feel free to leave an comment with your thoughts on what you are about to read. What would you do, if there was a social site that had by far the best profile pages ever built to let the world know who you were including a feature like “video profile management”, have a chance to get your articles on the front page for everyone to see as they log in, be able to build great photo widgets you can share with your community friends as well as uploading those photos to your own site displayed as a widget, unlimited groups you could join and groups you can start, a friends list that has no maximum number of friends you can have, and increase you RSS Feed Readers 10 times faster then any other method practiced today.

Feed Flare, when in full beta in a few months will be able to do everything I just listed above and more. My new years goal, seeings how I never really made one known was to be able to give to the blogger community something they have not seen yet, something that will change how new bloggers and old bloggers will be able to grow and meet new people. That is a community built just for them, by them! Over the next few months while I secure the funds and have the site built by the great team over at Unique Blog Designs I will post about some of my idea’s and ask for feedback on them. I can not build a Social Networking site for bloggers with out you and your feedback, but I do know with what I have listed above your not going to want to miss it!
