Some site updates from Feed Flare.
Here is a list of recent updates for Feed Flare that have taken place over the past week or so.
1- Added another 100 or so RSS buttons to our free buttons page which has put us at the largest collection in one place for “RSS subscription” buttons.
2- Added Project Wonderful advertising to the site. This is a 125×125 ad button that is displayed in my side bar. How it works is, you click on the area that says place bid and you are taken to Project Wonderful website where you can place a bid to have your ad running on this site. Ads run until you are outbid by someone for that spot, so if you go for a bid of 30 or 40 cents chances are you can have your sites ad there for a long time. It is a very cheap way to advertise your site that yields some nice results. Feed free to check it out!
3- Added a registration and login section to our forums to help reduce spammers. There has also been a few new category’s started that are geared towards making the forums users some extra money by letting them be able to list there own affiliate programs with there sign up links.
4- Altered header image to reduce some congestion at the top of the page.
Our grand opening contest is set to be live tomorrow morning. I have spent at least 30 hours putting everything together for it and gathering up all the prises for it. I still have some contest sponsor reviews to complete which I will get to I am hoping over the next 2 weeks or so. If you have not seen your review yet, do not worry as it is coming.
