Won Round Two of the Market Leverage Contest

Posted on January 8th, 2009 by Collin in Feed Flare

After a $450.00 emergency repair bill to my piece of shit 1996 Cavalier today I was very happy to see that I was one of three grand prize winner’s in the Market Leverage Contest held over the past month on John Chow dot com and a few other blogs.

There was around 8 to 10 2nd place winner’s – one from each blog that ran the contest, and then 3 out of those finalist were chosen who had the best affiliate marketing tips.

Here is my list of prizes I won just for giving out some affiliate marketing tips that I personally know work for making money online.

Prizes

1 – iPod Nano

2 – $100.00 Amex Gift Card

3 – $50.00 iTunes gift card 9 to load up the Nano with

4 – Market Leverage t-shirt

And the last prize which is my favorite prize out of all of them is the amazing Amazon Kindle. In case you never heard of this before, it is an amazing little device that allows me to download almost any book that has been made in less then 60 seconds, plus news articles from almost every paper in north America (could be the world actually).

The Kindles were sold out a few weeks back due to Chirstmas and eveything and Oprah featuring it on her show. Which I amsure helped increase sales a ton too.

Here is a snap shot of the Kindle.

Above all the prizes I just won totallying a value of around $750.00 there was one thing I wanted to see happen over everything else.

I want to see someone make some money with the tip I gave for the contest. To me, that means more then what I just won. I have said it before and I will say it again. With all the area’s a person can make money online there is no reason at all for people to hoard the knowledge.

With that, I want to thank Market Leverage for having this contest again and for John Chow hosting it.

Great job sharing tips by all the people who did enter.

Nice job Collin. You are da man. I’m jealous about the kindle. I’ve wanted one of those for a while. They’re just too expensive.

Congrats on the great prizes. You have worked your butt off on this contest and the Pepperjam Network contest. The only problem is that your Kindle will not work in Canada. The unit is set up to work with Sprint in the US or through USB on a computer connecting through a US ip address. You could sell it and get the new Sony Touch Screen ebook reader it works in Canada. Check out my article about this at http://www.vendingmatic.info under ebook readers. I also wanted a Kindle so bad, hope Amazon can get one of the Canadian telephone monopolies to make it work.

Was that Kindle the one that reads pdf files and had a small screen? That is an expensive device.
