Another day the Boys at Feedburner Sleep

Just a quick point of observation here. If you are noticing a drop in your Feedburner counters don’t worry about it. You did not lose a bunch of subscribers.

When the Feedburner crew goes out for a night on the town they often forget to run the script used to calculate all of your subscribers. When they forget to run it, your counters drop drastically and shows off false numbers.

It gets frustrating when this happens but there really is not to much any of use can do about it.

Tomorrow, your numbers (and mine) should be back up to normal.

This is quite relevant for the many individuals that are shocked by the changes that show up every once in a while. It is still bound to surprise many individuals until if/when it is corrected, but spreading around the reasoning behind it is a fitting plan for the current time.
