How do you check for backlinks?

How do you check for backlinks to your site?

With all the different back link checkers that are out there it makes me wander which ones people use and how accurate they seem to be.

Myself I use 2 different tools I have to check for backlinks. The first is my SEO tool called Market Samurai which I am able to test every site to see where it stands for backlinks. To cover all the bases I also use the SEO plug in extension for Fire Fox which I think works great. As your Googling to can check up on your competition and see hows things are going.

Market Samurai and the SEO plug in for FireFox are with in 100 links of each other for this site, Feed Flare, which I found to be fairly accurate. Other tools I have used or tested lately were way off so it tells me they don’t pick up every type of link.

Which do you use to check you backlinks or do you think there is no really way to check them.

Ya let me know Dennis what you have, I would like to test it against mine and see. A more accurate test is always better I think.

That plugin is great, I’ve been using that for a while. It’s really nice to be able to tell right away the alexa, and PR, for your competitors like you said. Thanks for you comment, and I’m going to try your idea as well.

Like I said, you have to keep your name in the widget so once you make enough comments with out looking like your spamming then your all set.
