Nice list.

There’s no getting around the fact that it’ll take forever and a year to truly understand each traffic source though. I tested just about every site I could find when I was working in one niche, only to find that I had to go back and test them all again when another niche performed differently across the board.

A lot of the media buying decisions I make these days are based on instinct. You should always research for tidbits of info on what kind of traffic works well though. A CPC platform like Adbrite was a crapheap for my rebill traffic, but gold for gaming. It’s what makes an affiliate marketer being able to translate all of the above in to something that still profits!
