What is up with Twitter?
Watch today’s video or read the post below!
Well if you have been blogging for any amount of time I am sure you have heard of Twitter by now. When I first started blogging over 6 months ago, well I think it is closer to 9 months now, I joined Twitter like most everyone else. I had a look around the site and could not figure out what it was all about, so I just left it and moved on to some of the other sites like Blogcatalog and MyBlogLog.
It was not until recently that “Twitter” started to catch my attention, so much so that I am going to have to put some focus on that site in the up coming weeks and have a closer look at it. Why you ask? Well it would seem that there has been close to 20 or 30 people who have found me in there (user name of Konvictcollin) and they started to follow me to see what I am up to.
I have always liked it when people in social networking sites add me as a friend but what has really caught my eye is the fact that a few people who have added me also have bloggers like Jeremy from Shoemoney, Darren from Problogger and John Chow. Most people add these guys to there groups of friends because they are so popular so that was no biggy to see, but what made me go wow is the fact that there is only like 10 other people in these same lists that I am in. So for some odd reason I am being put into groups with some of the biggest bloggers around. I am not complaining, I am very honored to be added to lists that have so few names or mostly the bigger bloggers.
This tells me that I should be focusing a lot more in Twitter and what they have to offer a blogger like me. Do you have a profile in Twitter, if so look me up and add me as a contact. Once again I am under the user name of Konvictcollin.

Twitter is one of those sites that take a lot of time out of your day if you’re not careful.
Like you I don’t really have it figured out. But my grasp of Twitter is that you just twitter away time sharing everything that come to mind or that you are working on.
I currently have 46 followers and I am following 31 others.
I go to Twitter every day and make a few twitters myself, but really I am only doing it because others are.
I can’t see that it has benefited me in any way to this point. So I wonder why I am doing it, maybe just because others told me I should.
