How I Plan To Win The Pepperjam Network Contest!

I am going to tell you how I plan on winning this contest and I am going to be giving you some great tips you can use to try and win it for yourself. I am not going to tell you what I am going to base my niche store around, just a few things I am going to do. The reason why I will share a few things with you is because I would like to see Pepperjam Network get some really great stores built. Better quality stores for us means Kris can go after even better and bigger advertisers for the network which will result in us being able to chase mre money. Make sense?

First thing I am going to do is go through the list of advertisers in Pepperjam and look to see if there is one with lots of products listed in the store builder section that I can place on a site. This allows me to target more then just one type of product from an advertiser and build a store completely based around them.

Second thing I am going to do is look at the advertisers site, get a feel for the product and maybe copy some text that I can change around and use on my site to make the building process go faster.

Next I am going to do keyword research to see if I can get a great name related to the advertisers products. I want every aspect of this site to be related to each other. eg: If I am going to build a store about model planes I don’t want my site name to be “havefunathome.com” I want it to be “havefunwithmodelplanes.com” I hope you see what I am getting at there. That is one of the biggest tips I can give anyone. Keyword relevance in a site and the sites name helps you big time with search engine placment.

After I have picked my product and found a kickass site name I am going to register that name. While I am waiting for everything to go through I am going to spend a lot of time searching for the perfect wordpress theme I can use that is related to the store I want to build. This is going to help with conversations as well because if your traffic feels everything looks professional and is related, they just might spend money with you.

Once I have my domain pointing to my server, and I have my theme I am going to do some more keyword research for the pages I want to build on the site, then I am going to build the shit out of the store and wait until the last week to submit it. This way no one can copy me :) I am also going to work on my SEO as well because I am sure Kris and the rest of Pepperjam would like to see that you just didn’t copy and paste code onto a site, that you thought about what your doing and tried your best to actually make some money for them and you in the process.

Why I Think I Can Win The Grand Prize!

Well, so far there is a lot of entries into this contest. Most of the sites I looked at (yes I am keeping an eye open on who is entering and with what they entered with) are doing something I personally can’t do and that’s just do a quick copy and paste thing.

Heck, there was even one site that had the Pepperjam store builder code in the center of the site and freaking Google Adsense all around it. Ummm can you say your not going to be making much money. Its things like that I have seen that I know I can beat very easily with what I am doing. Now, its just a matter of me getting out of m head what I see in there. If I can, I WILL WIN!

What you don’t want to do!

To kick off the contest Kris Jones has stated he is going to be giving the first 100 entries into the contest a $10.00 entry bonus. A lot of people have responded, but seeings how you only get one entry into the contest, would it not make sense for you to forget about the $10.00 and take the time to build a better site that could end up winning you $1000.00, I am. I was like the fifth person to enter with one of my other sites but after I thought about it, I emailed Kris and asked him to remove my entry. I am going after the win!

Good luck to everyone who enters!

I like the way you think, only leaving your submission to the last moment so nobody copies you. This process entails loads of work and rip-off artists are really annoying. Good luck, I look forward to seeing your offering!
