Media Buys Coach Review – Media Buying Training Program
For all of you who have been reading about Media Buying on my blog over the past month and have been interested in learning more about how Media Buying works and how you can start off in it for yourself, today is your lucky day. Media Buys Coach is now live!
Will, the creator of the [...]
Frustrations, Frustrations and Even More Frustrations!!!
Well, what started out to be a good month has turned into a pile of crap very fast. Over the past week and a half I have been noticing a major drop in income coming from my organic sites. I was not to sure what was going on at first as I was focused on Media Buying and then the emails started to flow in. My main advertiser “Just Think Media” (a 23 year old named Jessie) was losing (has lost) his merchant account – again!!! and a huge portion of my sites are not generating any leads.
Now, all the sites currently do not have the right offers on them and are dead, income wise. There is still a ton of traffic coming to the sites and I am still getting well over 200 clicks per day to offers, but not to the right offers. Right now I am just testing which offers will convert on the traffic which is what I did before. The nice thing is, I have over 30,000 unique visitors a month all looking for health supplements of some sort. So it is just a matter of me trying to figure out how to make money off of it.
Side Note
Whats funny is, I got an email on the weekend that Tracking 202 has been sold, I wander if there is a tracking link issue maybe! Just a thought!
What is even more frustrating!
It’s frustrating when your income goes to crap over night, but what frustrates me more is the fact that the affiliate networks will allow such a poor advertiser to run on there networks. As affiliates, we have to have some level of trust for the networks in which we deal with so when an offer goes live, we should be able to trust they are from an advertiser who is reputable and is secure in his business. There is no way in hell a 23 year kid fits that bill.
The problem is, networks don’t really give a shit who the advertiser is, as long as they pass a credit check, there in! It’s all a money grab for the advertiser and the networks. There is no thought put into longevity and sustainability. If there was, problems like this would not be showing up in affiliate marketing – at all. Worst of it is, Just think Media has a track record of screwing networks and he has even admitted to one manager I spoke with that he scrubs on his merchant account to hide the scrubs from the networks. Do networks not talk to each other to find out if a new advertiser is reliable or not????
This exact same problem happened with another type of product I was running with in September where a 21 year old stiffed a network to the tune of 3 Million, because he could.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Yes, there is a solution and it all starts with the networks being more responsible! First they need to start thinking of long term instead of short term. Short term is fine for people with a big budgets who can blast out 1000 leads a day and not really care how long an offer is good for. They make enough in the short term. For us who are trying to build a solid business, we can’t and it’s that simple!
An example,
I have a partner lined up to do a media buy with right now through media buys coach. We had a site lined up to do our buy on, we built all our pages and got everything set up. The deal fell through in the last minuet which I am kind of glad it did because all the dame offers are gone now.
Hey Networks!!! It takes time to build campaigns and get things going you know. If your advertisers drop out that fast – your losing money too! Right?
In total, I would say that my partner and I plus my graphic designer (who I am going to post about very soon cause this guy is nails!!!) wasted almost 2 weeks worth of time setting everything up. At least we can go live faster next time!
Sorry if this post was rather long, but there was and is clearly a few things I needed to get off my chest. Now if you will excuse me, I need to find a way to make some money fast!!!
Well, I know I am a little late getting this post out but I have been busy – lol. It’s just that time of year to bust a hump and get as much done as you can as we are all in some way getting into our busy season. So that is what I have been doing.
Now, regarding my affiliate marketing income report for October. To say the least it was an interesting month. No Media Buying took place once so ever as I spent the entire month waiting for my September income to show up so I could get things funded. Unreal eh! I am still waiting on around 2500.00 from September to come in and once I have it – were kicking things up. I am actually in the process right now of setting up two new buys to test out. One with a partner and one alone through a contact I got with Ultimate CPA. Stay tunned on them, you know I am going to be posting once everything goes live in the next week or so.
Ok, now to the meat of this article – my October income report.

Now, if you will excuse me I have a network to rebuild again and Media Buying to get started on.
Stay Tuned!
List Of Media Buying Sites – Where To Buy Media Ads From!
List Of Media Buying Sites – Where To Buy Media Ads From
Ok, as promised here is a list of websites you can use for Media Buying. Keep one thing in mind though. Some media buyers will only test there campaigns using this list. After they have seen where their top converting traffic has come from, they will try and contact the sites directly for a larger media buy. This will lower the cost of the campaign and hopefully increase the end ROI.
Right now, being a smaller media buying guy – I just work off of this list with the sites I can use and that fit my budget. I will give you what ever information I have for each media buying site.

Affiliate Marketing Income Report for September 2009
Well, it’s the end of another month and the start of our busy season. I remember last year that online business really started to get pumping around this time. As much as I loved this past summer and it was by far one of the best I had ever as far as freedom was concerned to do what ever I wanted when ever I wanted, it’s nice to be back at work hitting it!
Media Buying took a little slow turn last month, well, to be honest, it was a complete break even venture. I did some testing and lost money on a few campaigns and made some as well. It all worked out to be even so there is really nothing to report to you guys in my income report.
Ok now lets get at it shall we!
Affiliate Marketing Income Report for September 2009
Regular Earnings
- Neverblue Ads – $4105.67
- Unique Leads – $2483.96
- Copeac – $1313.91
- CX Digital – $1171.77
- Azoogle – $413.38
- Wotogepa – $231.12
- Hydra – $175.65
Affiliate Marketing Regular Earnings Total = $9895.06
Recurring Affiliate Commissions
- Inlinks – $67.02
- PPC Coach – $150.00
Recurring Affiliate Income Total =$217.02
Monthly Sub Total = $ 10,112.48
Expenses For Regular Earnings in August
- Dedicated Server – $154.00
- Unique Article Wizard – $70.00
- PPC Coach – $49.00
- Media Buys Coach – $200.00
Total Expenses = $473.00
Total Net Income For September 2009 = $9639.48 (YAYA)
Ok so now I feel a bit better. My gross hit the minimum earnings amount that I have set for myself but the net profit needs to come up.
So, all in all I was happier then I was in August, but with driving harder into the media buying realm – we should start to see a bigger increase for October. I have set my goal to $15,000 net. We’ll see how close I can get.
Media Buys Coach Review – Media Buying Training Program
For all of you who have been reading about Media Buying on my blog over the past month and have been interested in learning more about how Media Buying works and how you can start off in it for yourself, today is your lucky day. Media Buys Coach is now live!
Will, the creator of the famous PPC Coaching program called PPC Coach has teamed up with a very successful full time Media Buyer to bring the first ever resource center and training program for people looking to learn the ropes in Media Buying.
Why is this a good thing?
Well, if any of you have been doing any type of following up with Media Buying after reading my blog posts to learn more you would have seen there is very little information out there on the topic at all and that is for a few reasons.
1- Media Buyers are not bloggers
2- Media Buyers do not want the competition.
What is nice to see is that there will be a full list of resources of where to buy media traffic from so regardless of the size of your budget, you will find a way to make more money and at a faster rate then regular PPC.
Remember my first week in Media Buying, My first campaign hit a 350% ROI after only 4 days being live off of a &50.00 per day spend! Does that tell you what type of money can be made???
Unlike Google, there is tons of room for more Media Buyers, and the fact is – Media Websites and Media Buying Firms such as Adsonar that offer media buying in a PPC or CPM model are begging for more affiliates to get into this space as there is just tons of traffic that can be hit, daily!
I know first hand what kind of program Will from PPC Coach puts together and look forward to learning more myself in this industry. Honestly – it’s where the money is at right now and for many more years to come.
