Can you Make Money With PJN Store Builder System?

Posted on December 13th, 2008 by Collin in pepperjam network

Since my campaign for votes started for the Pepperjam Network Store Builder contest I have been asked a lot how my money making is going with this new system. Before I get into if I am making money yet and how I am I need everyone who HAS NOT VOTED YET TO DO IT NOW! I am in second place and really need your votes. Vote for “Wireless Cell Accessories” by clicking here! If you are not an affiliate of the Pepperjam network don’t worry about signing up, just vote please.

Ok, am I making money with my new Pepperjam Stores?

The answer to that question is YES, I am and I am not even paying for traffic. That means I am not doing any PPC campaign on the sites that have the store builder code on it. There is a trick though to getting organic traffic to your new stores, well, its not really a trick but it is something I know most of the other contestants might not of thought of when they dd their stores.

You just can’t copy and paste the store builder code onto your site and think your going to rank organically for what ever is on your page. Google can not index javascript. If you do not add your own content before the store builder code chances are your not even going to get indexed in the search engines. To them, all they see is a blank page.

So here is what you do to organically get traffic to your store builder stores.

Lets say your going to build a store like mine for Wireless Cell Accessories, or something to do with selling cell phone parts. Your going to want to research terms people search for who might be looking for cell phone parts. Lets say for example you are going to make a page on your site for cell batteries. Using Google’s Keyword Tool you are going to want to try and find a somewhat low competition keyword that users of Google might search for if they wanted to buy a cell phone battery.

Then once you have that keyword, or keyword phrase use it as your page title and write some content before the store builder code or after it and sprinkle that same phrase in the content. Now Google and other search engines crawl your site they are going to see what your page is about, not see the store builder code (because they can’t anyways) and index you for your chosen phrase.

When traffic comes to your site, they will see and read your content and notice you have products related to what they searched for. Chances are they are going to click over to the retailer you are promoting through the store builder system and now you have a cookie dropped. If that user makes a purchase, you get paid.

This is the exact method I have used guys to make basically free money using the store builder code and the Pepperjam Network. It does works just fine!

One Last reminder

My site again is Wireless cell accessories. Please Vote!

Collin, thanks for the great info. I’ve been contemplating playing with the stores. I’ve been a little frustrated with PJN, because they haven’t approved others sites of mine for many of the advertisiers, and one that fit rather nicely, they recently suspended it.

Well, if you got any problems with them by all mean email Kris Jones @ Pepperjam

Also, if your looking for any new networks, Wotogepa and Advaliant are two really , really good ones. They don’t have a store option though.

PJN is currently working on a PHP script to replace the existing Javascript for improved SEO value. There will also be a WordPress Plugin so that you can do everything from your Dashboard – how cool will that be?
