PPC Coach Review – The Pay Per Click Marketing Training Program
Many of you know a while back I joined the PPC Coach Pay Per Click Marketing Training Program that is offered by PPC super affiliate Will Haimerl. Today’s post is going to give you my absolute honest opinion of what my thoughts are so far being in the program.
How I learned about the PPC Coach.
I am not sure how many of you follow the Pepperjam Network blog, I follow it very closely. There is always great information that is released in there about new affiliate offers the Pepperjam network just launched. There is also a bunch of posts titled “Meet the Affiliates” and it was through one of those posts that I discovered the PPC Coaching Program by Will.
If you have not read the interview with Will on the Pepperjam Network Blog you can do so by visiting the Pepperjam Blog, and I recommend that you do after reading the rest of this review. You will learn a more personal side behind the creator of the PPC Coaching Program. In a nut shell you will read why PPC Coach was started and what Will is helping many ppc affiliates achieve.
Why I joined the PPC Coaching Program.
Honestly I know there is good money to be made building affiliate based websites. I make some money at it now and I have even helped a guy make money the same way. Actually, Bryan, the first guy I was mentoring has recently reported to me that he has just had a couple of 30 dollar days in a row with one of his sites. Good job Bryan!
For myself, I knew building affiliate sites was not going to be what I wanted to do for a career and that pay per click marketing was were I wanted to be. Affiliate sites are a good foundation to have, but they are also alot of work. Once I read the interview and checked out the PPC Coach website and seen that it only cost $49.00 a month I figured, why not. The cost is cheap and if I learn what I need to learn about PPC then I would be set.
You all know there is a crap load of sites in the make money online niche but they don’t teach you shit. Will, at the PPC Coach has a goal. To mentor you in building a business. That business is based around showing you how to set up 10 PPC Campaigns that all profit 100 per day. That’s a 1000 dollars per day profit, and from what I have seen around the net and information I got from my affiliate managers, 1000 a day is very low for a serious PPC’er. The reason behind building 10 campaigns is this way, once there all going you will have a business and if one or two offers your running get pulled or canceled you still have other offers making you money so your not stuck with out anything.
Here is how it works!
Once you buy your membership of $49.00 per month you are given access to the forums. Each month you are a member of the program you are given access to a new month where you will learn a new way and learn new techniques of making money in PPC. This is set up this way for one reason and one reason only. The forums, which is the heart and soul of the program (which I will get to in a bit) has a ton of information. If you get access to 100% of the forums right off the hop I guarantee you will drop the program because of the information overload factor. Month one is bad enough to get your head around and I could not imagine what it would be like to see everything all at once.
In month one, you are given all the tools and programs to build you first set of campaigns. From the tracking system with the auto offer rotators to the script to build your first site. What you are taught to do in the first month is to build either a poll site or a review site. Both of these are fairly simple methods to start off with and both use a low paying type of offers. Based around setting up your campaign on the content network in adwords you are also not going to drop 1000’s of dollars your first month in. It has been set up to basically get your feet wet and show you how to set things up properly.
I started a poll site ( gaspolls.com ) and seen some results with it, but as it turns out. I must be the only person interested in following gas related topics. LOL, that’s ok though because I have some new polls sites I am going to be working on that should be more popular. I am not going to get into what month two is all about at this point, that would make this post just huge but I will say this, things are stepped up from the first month and you are breaking into the UK market, where Will makes most of his money.
A fast Video Demo of the PPC Coaching Program and layout.
Here is the problem I had in month one!
To much information that is all scattered all over the place. Will does state in his opening welcome video to take a week and just read the forums and try and get things figured out and ask any question in the forums you have. To me, this was kind of a waste of time. I almost think it would of been better instead of using the forum style to have the lessons or methods posted in for the first month it might of been better to have a PDF file or a separate page that really draws your focus to what your going to be doing. For me, forums are all messy as far as how to get your information. I am also a rookie as well though with using forums so maybe that was my problem, not the coaching programs.
Did I find success in my first month?
I did find some success. I did not find success with the poll site I built, like I said above. I did start another campaign though based around a dating offer I seen that was doing good on another site of mine. Using the methods taught in month one of how to set up a campaign properly I was able to get one campaign from Neverblue ads hitting an amazing 170% roi in its first week and a half of running. That was also based on a $10.00 a day budget I had. But, after that first week and a half it went to shit and I lost 300. Here’s how!
After I seen my first campaign doing great I decided to install a tracking system onto the offer I was running so I could try and squeeze as much out of it as I could. I could not get my head around the free tracking system the coach gives you so I used another one. What I did not know was the tracking system I was using has a problem where it sometimes will drop a part of your affiliate id number off the link. The click records but not the sale. I found this out after two weeks of losing money, not the coaches fault. I am now using the coaches tracker because it works. Also, at some point during November the advertiser who’s offer I was running was pulled from all the networks and the network I was running it with did not notify me that the offer was pulled. That is not my fault that happened, nor is it the coaches problem either. That is a direct result of a affiliate manager who does not pay attention to her affiliates and what they are running. I should of received an email. In that case what you have to do is ask for a new affiliate manager, one who gives a shit about there affiliates.
My conclusion!
Is the 49.00 per month I am spending worth it or not. 100% yes, it is. The forums are amazing for support and getting help with your sites to help them convert better. All the tools you need to use are free with your membership to the PPC Coach which is nice. There is no up sales anywhere in the site, which was dame nice to see. I was also able to set up a campaign based on a ten dollar a day budget and make money.
If you want to learn the right way to do PPC with out a bunch of fluff and B/S, PPC-Coach has my full support and recommendation based on what I have learned so far.
Great Job Will!

Tomorrow guys I will be posting how to get 50% off your first months subscription.
ReplyHi Collin, gaspolls.com looks interesting. I answered the poll question and it took me to what looks like a PPA page. I was going to try that with some of my parked domains but never found the time. It looks like you are using ppc to promote ppa?
I think PPC Coach should pay you to update their site. Your review has a lot more information than their entire site. I can’t imagine anyone forking out fifty bucks a month on a site that looks like it should be on the free site of Blogger.com. I don’t mean to insult them but they could probably use your help on that end. It sounds like an excellent program from your post though. I’ll check out your 50% off deal tomorrow.
Reply@Brian D. Hawkins:
ReplyRight on Bryan, and thanks for the compliment about my review.
Very good review indeed, although I’d be cautious about the word “cheap” for 50 bucks per month. Remember, most that would use this program I think would be newbies.
If I start using PPC in ‘09, I’ll definitely look into this. Are you coaching more people yet?
Reply@Dennis Edell:
ReplyThere was 4 people who asked for help. One is very serious and hungry. And when you think of all the other products online for ppc, 50 is cheap. Remember, PPC you can make 50k a day doing and anyone who joins PPC Coach really knows the possibilities with PPC. Really, there is no other way to make as much money online.
Hey, Collin. I liked your review very much. I’ve already been a member for 2 months now and I can only say good things about the site. If it wasn’t for PPC-Coach I wouldn’t even be in the PPC world.
?
ReplyBtw, do you mind if I ask what’s your username on PPC-Coach
Best regards!
