A few posts back I stated that I was getting into PPC and giving that a try to see where I would be able to take it. This post is not to tell you about all the thousands in profit I have made. I would be lying to you if I said that. But instead it is to tell you how this venture started off for me and how I am doing right now in it.
When I first posted my first campaign it was on the recommendation of my affiliate manager at Neverblue Ads. Things started out ok but I was having a major issue with my display and destination URL’s not being approved. That campaign that I was running from Neverblue was converting but my cost per click was around $1.75 which I thought was to high. It turned out it was! After about 3 days of trying to figure out how to lower my cpc or improve my quality score I decided to pause the campaign so I would not be wasting a bunch of money. I am starting off with a $10.00 per day budget so I have to make sure I use it wisely.
I think Fate Stepped In to Help ME!
It was two Friday nights ago when the Pepperjam Network Blog released a “Meet the Affiliates” post about a guy who runs a site called PPC Coach. This post went live on Pepperjam 3 days after I started into PPC and the same day I shut down the offer I was running on adwords so I could figure things out a bit more. PPC coach is a program run by a guy who makes hundreds of thousands per month doing PPC and he walks you through how to do it and how to make money online doing PPC. His goal for you when you join is to get you to the point of having 10 campaigns up all profiting 100 per day each.
To make a somewhat long story short, it has been about 8 days since I joined the PPC Coach program and after getting over the information over load that is part of that site when you first join it I am starting to see that the $49.00 per month costs for being a member are going to be well worth it. I knew I had a strong base foundation of what was all involved in PPC because of being on TAC, there was just a few practical steps I was missing. I am getting them now!
As many of you know there is a lot of things to know about PPC, but what is cool is once you get past the newbie starting block everything is pretty much like an assembly line from that point after. You can build and build and build campaigns and make a lot of money. Right now, after 8 days, I have a campaign running that I am spending $9.60 a day on and grossing $26.00 = a net profit of $16.40 per day! So imagine for a second if I now ramped up my daily spending limit on that campaign to lets say $150.00 per day. I would then be grossing approximately $390.00 per day with a net of $246.00 —–> that is a new full time income and a career I hate being in replaced with a better one I can work in, wearing only a towel!!! (oh, thats in US funds to) My cost is in Canadian funds but my income is in US, how cool is that?
My next step is to get heavy into the free tracking program you get when you join PPC Coach (from what I can tell every program you need from landing page generators to tracking systems are free to you to have when you join PPC Coach) and use it to figure out which of my keywords are converting and which ones are wasted clicks so I can optimize that campaign and increase my profits even more.
After me being a member of PPC Coach for a full month I will post my own personal thoughts here and review the entire site for you guys.

PPC is another area that has me a little baffled. I read people using PPC (through Google) to brink in traffic in the hope they will click on Google ads to leave the site. I cannot see how you can profit through that. PPC for affiliate ads - I can see that working though.
I will be watching for your reports to see how you go.
Cheers

I look forward to your month after post. I’ve seen this a few times but $49 is a bit much for someone never doing PPC before….if it all seems to work out nicely though I may consider signing up under you
I assume there is an affiliate program?
Oh Les raises another question - is it only for PPC through Google?
ReplyHey Guys, its for all the search engines. Well the ones that convert anyways. The whole goal behind how Will (the owner of ppc coach) set this program up is to basically mentor you into building ten ppc campaigns each earning 100 a day profit. There is an information over load issue that takes about a week to get through but once that is done your rolling. The forums are great too, alot of people in there all helping each other out to make money in ppc.
ReplyIs that a week of doing nothing else? ‘Cause then it’s like a month or two. LOL

ReplyNope, I have about 2o sites I work on over the coarse of a week.
Ah much better then as far as info overload goes.
ReplyPPC ain’t my favourite, but it seems like you’ve got the right coach to guide you through the process. I will be watching your report backs avidly. Thanks for putting your experience out there for us to share and learn too.
