Exposing your RSS feeds with high authority.

Posted on February 5th, 2008 by Collin in RSS Tips

Contests are flowing like mad right now in the blogsphere and most of these contests require you to subscribe to hosts RSS feeds. This is by far one of the best ways to increase your readerships as well as traffic to your site. The other most common way to enter a contest is by linking back to the site that is promoting the contest through a post on your site. This is great to gather up some links that will increase your sites rank but if you are looking to gain links that offer high authority there is only one place that comes to mind.

If you are truly looking for quality back links to your site and really want to expose your RSS feeds to as many people as you possible can then I think you should head over right now to RSS Hugger. This is a free site to join, that is if you do what I am doing right now and tell people about it or else you have to pay $20.00 to get listed, and what you get is your feed displayed in the site along with a link back to your site. What is RSS Hugger you ask, well here is the intro from the site.

rssHugger is a new website developed to help bloggers promote their blogs, and to help visitors discover new blogs that write about subjects that the readers are interested in. Through the power of the internet and viral marketing, rssHugger looks to bring blog writers and blog readers closer together.  rssHugger will be the first ever quality, spam free, and viral rss directory strictly for bloggers.

Now doesn’t that sound like a great idea? Once you have completed your post all you need to do is submit the URL of that post to rsshugger and once you are approved you will be able to enter all your sites information on your page, and then you are all done. It really is a very painless process which only takes about 15 minuets to complete depending on how fast you type. I suck at typing so this has taken me 2 hours to do. Just kidding, it was around the 15 min mark.

They also have a great site wide feature called there “Top 100″ which is a rotating display of sites and there feeds. It rotates every month this way the top bloggers don’t consume all the exposure from the site and everybody gets an equal chance of gaining traffic. Finally a site that is built to be fair not like Blog Rush, man was that a waste of time eh?

So with all that being said, fire up your key board and head over to RSS Hugger by clicking here and expose your feeds.
