How to use Feed Flare from Feedburner to increase your readers.
In a past post I talked about how you can increase your RSS feeds by submitting your feed details to numerous submission sites as well as I provided a list of site you can submit too, if you missed that post you can visit it here. What I didn’t get into is how you can increase your readers from these sites by using the Feedburner feed flare option which is what I am going to post about today.
The feed flare feature from Feedburner.
We all have heard about what the feed flare feature from Feedburner is all about. It is a great feature that allows you to add the option of submitting your posts to popular book marking sites that can end up really exploding your site with traffic right from inside your own feed. One thing you might not know of is how to add the option of subscribing right from your feed. Today I am going to show you a few simple steps you can take to help increase your readers.
The first step
The first thing your going to want to do is bring up your account with Feedburner. Close to the top of the screen to will see a navigation bar. Inside this bar you have a few choices to pick from, your going to want to click on the optimize button.

Step 2
After you have clicked on the optimize button you will see a list running down the left hand side of the screen. There are a lot of great features you can add to your feed but the one were going to get you to click on today is the “Feed Flare” tab as illustrated below.

3rd and final step
After you have clicked on the Feed Flare tab, your going to have a huge list of options you can add to your feed that will help you add some flare to it. The option we want to focus on today is the subscribe option. Here is a screen shoot showing you were to look for it.

All you have to do is check off the box and hit save at the bottom of the screen. After to have saved this option when someone is reading one of your posts in a directory they will be given the option to subscribe to your feed with out even coming over to your site. If you have not enabled the feed flare option yet your going to have to do that first before you turn on the subscribe option. While your on this page maybe add some features to your feed as well. The more exposure you can get, the better off your going to be.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post and I look forward to seeing you around here again if you found this post helpful, why not tell your friends about us!
