My Support Is For John’s Team!
After the nerve staking process of getting as close as I did to becoming a contestant for the Top Affiliate Challenge my full support has to go to John Chow and his team he will be working with.
Here is the reason!
Out of all the judges, and one of them I never even heard of before trying to get on the show and that’s Ken McArthur, John seemed to be the only one who was interested in who I was and took time out of his busy life to come by here not once, but twice to check me out and have a look around the site. I was able to see that he did by the MyBlogLog widget in my side bar.
Now if John can take the time to come here and look and see if I would of been good to go on the show and try and get to know me a bit better by having a look around when none of the other judges did, what does that tell you about him? That little step tells me that John really is dedicated to the process of the Top Affiliate Challenge and wants the best on the show that can be, even though John emailed me and told me that he was not really involved in the selection process for the final 2 contestants. Which tells me, the Mister Shoemoney was the one that did not select me. Looks like he just lost a reader today…..lol….just kidding!
Thanks again John for giving me the time of day!
New friends made along the way!
If you did not take the time to try out for this season of the Top Affiliate Challenge I would strongly recommend that you get ready for next season and try out. This whole process has been nothing but a success for me as I have met some great people, that I never new existed before trying out and I have gained support from a lot of them for the next season, which I am looking forward to getting on and was personally asked by Thor (the producer of the show) to make sure that I try out, well he asked me twice to be honest with you. I told him I would simply because of how hard yesterday must of been for them.
If you are trying to network and brand your self as a good guy, this is for sure one of the best ways to do it.
Watch Today’s Video!
Make sure you swing by tomorrow where I am going to be asking you a very important question, and that is how much is a mailing list worth to you that has over 40, 000 names on it.

Hey Collin,
Just wanted to let you know that I DID drop by, even if you didn’t make it on the show THIS time.
Obviously, the picks weren’t up to me and I don’t envy Thor the job of picking the last two contestants. Now that you HAVE heard from me, I hope to meet you in person soon?
By the way, if you would like to attend jvAlert Live in Las Vegas, October 17th, 18th and 19th or the Impact Boot Camp in Philadelphia, August 22nd, 23rd and 24th, I’d be happy to have you come as my guest.
By the end of either of those events, we will know each other pretty well.
Nice to know you!
All the best,
Ken
ReplyKen, I am interested in the Vegas trip for sure, how do I find out about it and whats all involved.
And thanks Ken, funny thing is to Thor told Colin Lahay not to say anything to me about getting on the show because Thor new that I bought all lahay’s votes…lol…and here I thought it was Shoe.
I am into what you do for a living so I need to pick your brain more then anyone elses right now and you can count on me to become a regular reader of your site.
Thanks Ken and until we meet.
Collin
ReplyHey Collin, you REALLY need to take Ken up on his offer. I attended JV ALert Live as his guest in a few months ago and I can honestly say that the connections I made networking there helped make Top Affiliate Challenge a reality. Ken’s conference is a one of a kind. FIND A WAY to be there. BTW, in case you didn’t know, Ken charges something like $800 for a JV Alert ticket. HUGE gift. Thanks for your audition and I’m looking forward to seeing your compete for a seat on Season 2!
ReplyHey Thor, yes I am going to book myself for the Vegas trip. I am totally down for that plus if you noticed, I have a Vegas category on this site……thats how much I love Vegas.
ReplyHey Collin,
Great! Get on the list at http://jvAlertLive.com/?id=1 and when we get the new sales page up, just sign-up but …
DON’T make payment. Just mark in the comments that you are coming as my personal guest.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
All the best,
Ken
ReplyRight on Ken, I will get on that right away. Do you know what hotel it is at or whats close so I can get things booked?
ReplyHey Collin,
It will be at the MonteLago Village Resort, 866-564-4799.
