Success! Added a Store to a Wordpress Blog

Posted on October 15th, 2008 by Collin in Wordpress Stores

It took me a few hours to figure out how to install my new software but I was able to fully install it and set up a store on Feed Flare that operates just like it was a regular page on this site, a regular page that contains over 400 of its own pages plus its own set of keywords and site map for premium SEO. Other then the fact the template of the store is different then the theme I use here, you can not tell it is a completely different software package running the store and there is no huge load on my site. Well, that is, until the traffic gets here. (which is a good load to have)

Today’s post is not going to be telling you how I got my Marketing Ebooks store up and running. I just wanted to let everyone know that my little test I talked about a week ago or so has worked out perfect. It has worked out so well that I am adding a store to most of my sites, that are all Wordpress based.

The Software I used (which is not a wordpress plug in or affiliated with Wordpress in any way) is called Store Stacker. I know most of you love Wordpress as much as I do but in the case of Store Stacker there really is no other solution for adding a fully self running store to your blog or to any website. You can even use Store Stacker to build a website from scratch. Once I got rolling yesterday with Store Stacker I was able to not only build a store on Feed Flare with over 200 products listed totaling close to 400 extra pages for this site I was also able to build a brand new site that is selling Racing Games all in about 4 hours work.

On Friday I am going to be creating a killer blog post your not going to want to miss. I am going to go over how Store Stacker works, how it WILL benefit bloggers, how to install it on a Wordpress blog (by creating a detailed installation page for ya) so it operates just like mine does. Where you can get it and so on.

In the mean time, if you want to have a look at Store Stacker just click here or wait until Friday when I point out to you all the huge features and how to set up your own store. Your going to love this for sure.

    Why do I get the feeling I missed a post on this somewhere?

    BTW, there really isn’t a good overload. You may want to guestimate traffic and possibly upgrade some. :)

    It looks like that Store Stacker program serves the function quite well. Adding a store to a site can be quite appropriate for those individuals that have products being released. WordPress is so adaptable that there are very few items which are not able to be placed onto a WordPress site.

    @Armen Shirvanian:
    Hey Armen, thanks for coming by. Ya wordpress is great but if people don’t see how great it is they may never know the full beauty of it (or make the most money with it)
